As a guide: a Regular lechon feeds ~10–15 people, Medium ~15–25, Large ~25–35, and Jumbo 35+ (our most-booked size). Boarcher roasts native pigs of 11–30 kg live weight, so if your crowd sits between sizes, round up — leftovers keep well.

How to think about portions

Lechon is rich, and there's almost always rice and side dishes on the table, so you don't need a kilo per head. If lechon is the main centrepiece, size up; if it's one of several mains, you can size down. When in doubt, round up — cold lechon reheats and the crackling can be crisped again.

On our home page, the Sizes section has a quick headcount selector — tap your guest count and the matching size lights up. Or just message us your number and we'll match it.

Frequently asked questions

What size lechon is best for 20 people?

A Medium (good for ~15–25) is the usual pick for 20 guests. If lechon is the only main dish or your eaters are hearty, consider a Large.

How big is a Boarcher lechon?

We roast native pigs from 11–30 kg live weight, sized across Regular, Medium, Large and Jumbo to match different headcounts.

Which size is the most popular?

Jumbo is our most-booked size — it's the natural centrepiece for fiestas and big events. Medium is the most common for family-sized gatherings.

What if my headcount is between two sizes?

Round up. Lechon keeps well, and having a little extra is better than running short at a celebration.
