How far ahead should you order lechon?

Boarcher Cebu Lechon House · Updated June 2026 · 4 min read

A whole Cebu lechon fresh from the roasting pit
For regular days, order Cebu lechon at least a day ahead. For weekends, fiestas, salubong and major holidays like Christmas and New Year, order 3–5 days in advance — every lechon is roasted to order, so slots fill quickly during peak dates.

Why lead time matters

Boarcher lechon is made to order — nothing is pre-roasted and reheated. Each order takes a roasting slot in our Quezon City pit, and during peak dates those slots are limited. Booking early guarantees your size, your time window, and a confirmed delivery charge for your area.

Booking for salubong and Noche Buena

For Media Noche and Noche Buena, delivery windows around midnight are in heavy demand. Lock your slot early in December and confirm the exact arrival time so your lechon lands as the celebration starts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still order lechon last minute?

Sometimes — same-day or next-day can work on quieter dates if a roasting slot is open. But it's never guaranteed, so the earlier you ask, the safer.

How early should I order for Christmas or New Year?

At least 5 days ahead, and earlier is better. December dates fill quickly because every lechon is roasted to order.

Can I choose an exact delivery time?

Yes — tell us the time you need it and we'll aim for that window, then send live updates so you can follow it on the way.

What if my plans change after ordering?

Message us as soon as you can. Changes are easiest before your roasting slot begins, so reach out early.
